THOUSAND LOCAL TEENAGERS, MARCHED FROM THIS POINT
TO BROWNS BAY PROVINCIAL PARK, A DISTANCE OF
ELEVEN MILES WITH EACH TEEN BEING SPONSORED BY
ONE OR MORE PERSONS AT THE RATE OF TEN CENTS
FOR EACH MILE WALKED.
THE SUM OF $4,450 WAS RAISED AS THE RESULT OF
THIS MARCH AND WITH THESE FUNDS THE BROCKVILLE
TEENAGE CENTENNIAL COMMITTEE HAVE EQUIPPED
AND IMPROVED THESE PARK FACILITIES, AS THEIR
CENTENNIAL PROJECT.
