— 1977 —
A PROJECT OF
THE SOUTH NATION RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY
IN CO-OPERATION WITH
THE ONTARIO MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES
The Kenzie MacGillivray Dam commemorates Donald MacKenzie "Kenzie" MacGillivray January 9, 1900 – March 4, 1986, former Reeve of Finch Township, Ontario, and former Warden of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Ontario. The spillover dam accompanied with a waste water weir controls flooding of the South Nation River, especially during spring run off.
