Williamsburg War Memorial

The Williamsburg War Memorial stood on the west side of County Road 31 a short distance north of County Road 18, in Williamsburg, Ontario. It no longer occupies this place.

At the time of photographing the memorial its plaque was missing and the monument looked to have suffered some damage, most likely from water getting into the stone work and then freezing during the winter. I will revisit the memorial again when it has been repaired.

The plaque had the Royal Canadian Legion crest for Branch 538 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Williamsburg with the text:
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
