James Fletcher Fountain

A fountain commemorating James Fletcher, Dominion Entomologist and Botanist, stands in the Experimental Farm south of National Capital Commission Scenic Driveway and east of Maple Drive.

I pressed the button. The fountain no longer has its plumbing installed. The two marks on either side fill holes where chains with cups had been bolted to the structure. A nearby, less decorative fountain provides water for thirsty visitors.
