Dr. John A. Hopps Memorial

In Ottawa, north of Montreal Road, outside the grounds of the National Research Council of Canada at the north end of Macallum Street, the centre of the roundabout houses a plaque commemorating Dr. John A. Hopps.

the world's first heart pacemaker and
as the Father of Biomedical Engineering in Canada
