Jones House occupies the south side of Stanley Avenue about half way between Queen Victoria Street and Union Street.
c. 1890 JONES HOUSE
Built for John Jones, a mill worker, this house is characteristic of vernacular cottages that housed workers from the nearby mills. Typical features of this cottage include its second empire styled mansard roof, and its decorative porch.
