Manotick Fire Service Memorial Oak Revisited

I discovered the Manotick Fire Service Memorial Oak in 2014. I took three pictures of the tree and its plaque and posted them on this blog site. I went into that neighbourhood again in August, 2021, and took a few more pictures just to see how much the oak tree had grown.

The plaque and tree stand on the northwest side of the Fire Station 94 building on the northeast corner of Rideau Valley Drive North and Antioch Lane in Manotick, Ontario.

This Red Oak Tree was planted on April 15, 2000 by the members of the Manotick Volonteer Firefighters Association in memory of Chief Wayne Martin and Lieutenant Brian Brady

May the fond memories of our colleagues live on through the beauty of this magnificent tree.

CHIEF
WAYNE MARTIN
