Ivy and Gordon Scharf Park, formerly West Meadow Potter Drive Park, is named for Manotick residents, Gordon Mansel Scharf (July 27, 1904 - December 14, 1995) and Ivy Elizabeth Scharf, nee Christy (August 10, 1910 - October 29, 1999).
