I would like this list to be longer. There are commemorations to indigenous people in Ottawa and the surrounding area. There are also commemorations that include indigenous people that aren't specifically about them. The Valiants Memorial includes Joseph Brant. The Royal Canadian Legion's Afghanistan memorial is an inuksuk. The War of 1812 Monument includes an indigenous individual.
