Jockvale School No. 10
Jockvale School No. 10 occupies the northeast corner of Strandherd Drive and Jockvale Road, with access on Jockvale Road.

The Jockvale Heritage School, originally a log structure from 1841 became a brick building in 1906. At its peak sixty to seventy, mostly Irish Catholic, pupils in eight grades attended the one room school. In 1857 the school hired its first woman teacher. During the Second World War the school became a distribution centre for ration coupon books.

À son apogée, soixante à soixante-dix élèves, majoritairement catholiques irlandais, fréquentaient cette école à classe unique, répartis en huit niveaux. En 1857, l'école embaucha sa première institutrice. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, elle servit de centre de distribution de coupons de rationnement.
The school board closed the school in 1965 as it lacked an auditorium and did not offer instruction in French and music. Since then, various groups including the Lions Club, The New Horizon Social Club, and the South Nepean Muslim Community have used the school for their meetings and functions. Reports from custodial staff indicate the building is haunted.
Le conseil scolaire a fermé l'école en 1965, faute d'auditorium et parce qu'elle n'offrait pas de cours de français ni de musique. Depuis, divers groupes, dont le Lions Club, le New Horizon Social Club et la communauté musulmane de South Nepean, utilisent l'école pour leurs réunions et activités. Selon le personnel d'entretien, le bâtiment serait hanté.
