MacMillan Emigration Plaque

The MacMillan Emigration plaque stands on the grounds northeast of St. Raphael's Ruins south of  Country Road 18 near where Frog Hollow Road meets it.


This plaque placed by Kith and Kin of those who left Hearth and Home
To Commemorate the Emigration of MacMillans to Canada

on the 200th Anniversary of the 1802 Lochaber Migration on the
ships Friends, Helen and Jane to Glengarry County, Upper Canada

Original dedicated at Finlaystone, July 7, 2002, by the Glengarry & Ottawa Valley Branch
of The Clan MacMillan Society of North America
