Dr. Dorothea Kulis Tree

A tree memorializing Dr. Dorothea Kulis stands outside the Brockville Museum near the southwest corner of Water Street West and Kincaid Street in Brockville, Ontario.

Dr. Dorothea Friederike Kulis, described as a tireless worker, served the Brockville Museum as a board member, receptionist, greeter and bus tour hostess. She planned and planted gardens at the museum as her labour of love. In remembrance of her intelligence, common sense, strong work ethic, and enormous generosity her friends at the museum planted a tree on the museum grounds in her honour. She died on February 26, 2010, in her 85th year.
