Silent Messengers of the Arctic

For generations, the Inuit have been
creating impressive stone markers
on the Arctic landscape. Inuksuk
means "acting in the capacity
of a human." They serve many
functions, including guiding
travellers, warning of danger,
assissting hunters and marking
places of reverence.
